This gala Presentation will take place on Saturday March 28th 2009 at the beautiful and Luxurious DOUBLE TREE BY HILTON HOTEL, 655 DIXON ROAD, TORONTO, ONTARIO. The festivities will commence at 8:00pm with the AWARDS Presentation. The After Party will begin immediately following the AWARDS Presentation. Both events will feature some of Canada’s top reggae stars along with some well known, and anticipated, International reggae superstars. Special AWARDS include the Bob Marley Memorial Award, The Peter Tosh Memorial AWARD and AWARDS of Merit will be presented to some of the outstanding individuals who have contributed to Reggae Music in Canada and Internationally. In continuing the tradition of showing the CRMA organization’s commitment to diversity, this year’s Presentation will include a Canadian Soca/Calypso, Reggae Oriented Gospel category with the Caribbean Oriented Jazz category returning for another year. For the past 21 years the AWARDS Presentation has been a tremendous success, each show has been sold out and we expect this year to be the same.
